"Harlem Renaissance High School has changed my life in alot ways. When they say Rebuild, Renew, Restore they mean it. Before I went to this school I hated all my peers. I couldn't bear being in the same room for 45 minutes with my teachers. But at Harlem Renaissance, all of that changes. Not changes, but goes back to the way it used to be when I was younger. When you're younger you love school and look forward to your teachers. At Harlem Renaissance, they help you get those feelings back. They help you rebuild your ways, renew your character and restore the future you always wanted. I am not going to say that I am perfect, because nobody is, but Harlem Renaissance helps you get back on track; which is my goal. So what's yours?"

"I have been at Harlem Renaissance for about three weeks. I really love this school alot. It has changed me in so many ways in just a short period of time. When I wake up in the morning, I actually look forward to going to school. Harlem Renaissance High School is such an open place and the teachers are there to help you every step of the way. I always knew I wanted to graduate high school, but here I can really imagine myself with a cap and gown and getting my high school diploma."

Harlem Renaissance High School changed my life academically. When I first came to the school, someone told me that the term renaissance means rebirth and that this school was a place for a new beginning. As time passed, I can say the same thing. This school allowed me the opportunity to achieve and be successful. I don't regret coming here at all.

Harlem Renaissance High School has changed my life because I wasn't doing so well in my other school. Now, I can relate to the school motto: Rebuild, Renew and Restore because as soon as I stepped my foot into this school, I rebuilt my credits, I renewed my attitude and restored my grades with better ones. In my old school, I always cut class, did not go to school as much as now, and I didn't behave well. Coming here has changed my focus because I was didn't think I was going to graduate on time. With the teachers and staff's help, I realized that doing my work and passing could do just that, and I am proud of myself .

Harlem Renaissance changed my life in many ways. One way Harlem Renaissance changed my life was by calming me down. HRHS made me realize that life is to important and short for games. Another way HRHS changed my life was by giving me a second chance in school. HRHS helped me learn what I didn't know. They helped me understand the stuff I thought was impossible.
